The concerns I work with

Sometimes it’s hard to explain exactly what is going on. It’s enough to start with what troubles you right now.

Within psychotherapy, I also work with people who have diagnosed mental disorders. If your condition requires medical care, I recommend seeing a psychiatrist at the same time.

  • You feel anxiety, fears, inner tension or a sense of uncertainty

  • You are facing emotional burnout, apathy or a loss of interest in life

  • You struggle with self-esteem, confidence and self-acceptance

  • You often feel guilt, shame, irritation, loneliness or other strong emotions

  • You find it hard to set boundaries or depend too much on other people’s opinions

  • You are going through a breakup, a loss, a crisis or major changes in your life

  • You notice the same life patterns repeating

  • You want to understand yourself, your feelings, desires and reactions better

  • You want to understand the deeper causes of your difficulties and gradually change your habitual ways of reacting

You don’t have to come with a clear request

“Psychotherapy can begin with a simple feeling: I’m having a hard time right now, and I want to understand what is happening to me.”

At our first meeting, we will talk about your situation and what troubles you now, and try to put your request into words together.

In some cases, a few consultations are enough to work through a specific situation. In others, regular long-term work becomes more effective.

The format and length of therapy are decided individually, based on your request, your state and your goals.

How I work

Psychotherapy is not a set of one-size-fits-all advice, but a joint exploration of what is happening to you in particular.

  • At the center of the work are your feelings, thoughts, reactions, relationships, needs and life circumstances.

  • My task is to help you see more clearly what is happening, understand the causes of recurring difficulties and gradually find ways to act differently.

  • I can’t change another person for you. But we can explore what you really can influence: your own decisions, boundaries, reactions and ways of building relationships.

Formats of work

The format of therapy depends on what you come with.

  • One-off consultation

A single meeting to work through a specific situation, make a decision or get a professional outside perspective.

  • Course of consultations

A series of meetings to work on a particular request. The length is agreed together and adjusted when needed.

  • Long-term psychotherapy

Regular work with deeper emotional, personal or relationship difficulties and recurring life patterns.

  • Work with couples

For couples in which both partners are ready to take part in the process and want to understand what is happening between them.

  • Work with teenagers from 15

Possible when the teenager wants to take part in therapy. The work is built around their request and stays confidential within professional and ethical standards.

Experience and professional approach

Luydmila Osadchuk

I am a professional psychologist and clinical psychotherapist with 16 years of experience, a family psychologist, and an author and trainer of psychological programs for adults and teenagers.

My education and professional experience allow me to work both with specific life situations and with deeper, longer psychological processes.

In my work, I value professional boundaries, confidentiality, respect for the person and careful attention to each client’s individual situation.

I work with Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking clients from different countries, including people going through migration, adaptation and the life changes that come with them.

What matters for effective therapy

“Psychotherapy is a space we create together.”

  • The psychotherapist’s role

On my side, I provide a professional approach, confidentiality, attention to your request and respect for your boundaries.

  • The client’s role

On the client’s side, what matters is a willingness to take part in the process, explore your own feelings and reactions, keep to agreements and gradually try to change something.

You don’t need to understand right away what exactly is happening to you and what needs to change. This is exactly where therapy can help.

But psychotherapy is unlikely to be effective if the only goal is to get an instant solution or to change another person without taking part in the process yourself.

Terms of work

Clear agreements help make therapy steady and safe for both sides.

  1. 01

A consultation is paid no later than 24 hours before the meeting.

  2. 02

If a session is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance, the time stays reserved for the client and is paid, except in genuine force majeure circumstances.

  3. 03

Work with couples and teenagers follows additional rules of confidentiality and interaction.

How a consultation works

We can work together whichever country you are in right now.

    In person

    Malaga

One consultation lasts 50 minutes.

Before our first meeting, you can briefly describe your situation. If it’s hard to put your request into words, we will do it together during the consultation.

* I don’t provide psychological consultations by message: questions that need professional work are discussed during the meeting itself.

Group programs

Psychological work doesn’t have to be one-on-one

The group format creates a space where you can understand yourself better, explore your feelings and relationships with other people, receive support and gradually bring new ways of interacting into everyday life.

  • “The Happiness of Being”

A group psychological program for those who want to understand themselves better, reconnect with their desires and needs, and build steadier relationships with themselves and others.

  • “Who am I? How do I live my life?”

A program for teenagers that helps them understand themselves, their feelings and needs better, develop inner support, independence and self-confidence, and gradually shape their own vision of the future.

The program covers self-esteem, personal boundaries, relationships, separation, motivation, responsibility, talents, values and life goals.

Take a step towards yourself

You don’t have to wait until things get really hard, or know in advance how to put your request into words.

The first consultation is a chance to calmly talk through what is happening and understand which format of work may suit you.
